It’s another “Tuesday Talks” here at Love Fun Apps! Today’s guest blogger is Brett Wash, Founder of Awesome App Lab! We are very honored to have Brett share his terrific success story! We met Brett last May, 2012 in Chad Mureta’s App Empire Course. Brett has a delightful personality, always happy to help and eager to share his knowledge. We are sure you’ll enjoy his journey in the indie mobile app industry and please be sure to download his great apps and books!

/ Founded Awesome App Lab in 2012 and still in my first year in the App industry. Prior to that I was into online marketing and sold many different digital products online. Also helped small business owners get set up on the net. Was a huge fan of Trey Smith and when he made ‘Kolos Journey’ I knew instantly that I had finally found something I had to be part of.

/ Currently have 10 apps in store and 5 in production. Aim to have between 20 – 30 by the end of the year.

/ I have learned so much. I had no clue when I started and I completed my last app myself as an experiment. There is a lot to learn but its great fun and I love it. I’m making games at the end of the day. Not exactly hard work. I’ve even put together an iBook about my experience so far. If I can do it anyone can.

/ I’ve had Apps in the Top 100 Paid charts and on a consistent basis. So far the simplest apps have done the best numbers.

/ The best advice I can give is ‘ Just have a go ‘ .  You can spend took much time learning and theorising about stuff. Just get your hands dirty and learn as you go. The worst that can happen is your app doesn’t make money. So what.. Just tweak it until it does : )

/ The day I realised that a guy like me could be part of the App industry. I new it was my calling and I knew I’d have massive success.
